Castor Bean Carrier Oil - 120 mLRicinus communis - Cold Pressed
Castor oil is different from other carrier oils, in that it is not readily absorbed by the skin, instead leaving behind a protective layer. This lubricating and water-proofing characteristic is why castor oil is often used in protective creams and hair conditioners. Castor oil is more deeply coloured than almond oil, has a slight odour and is quite thick and sticky. Recommended for use in soap, protective skin creams and conditioners in small concentrations.
